PixelRetrieverCookie policy
Last updated 14 June 2026
We’ll be straight with you. PixelRetriever uses essential cookies to run the site, and analytics and advertising cookiesto understand how the site is used and to measure our ads — but those last two are switched off until you agree. When you first arrive, everything non-essential stays off until you choose Accept all, and you can change your mind any time via Cookie settings in the footer.
1. Essential cookies (always on)
These are needed to run the service, so they don’t require consent:
- Authentication — to keep you signed in securely between visits (set by our auth provider, Supabase).
- Security — a short-lived token during sign-in and when connecting a cloud source, to protect against cross-site request forgery.
- Preferences — to remember choices such as your language, your currency, your light/dark theme, and your cookie choice itself (a small
pr_consentcookie that lasts 180 days so we don’t ask you again on every visit).
2. Analytics & advertising cookies (only with your consent)
We load these through Google Tag Manager, and only after you accept:
- Google Analytics 4 — to understand, in aggregate, how visitors find and use the site so we can improve it.
- Google Ads — to measure whether our advertising actually brings people who sign up (conversion measurement).
We use Google Consent Mode v2: by default, before you make a choice, all analytics and advertising storage is set to denied, so these tags set no cookies and collect no identifiers until you give consent. If you choose Reject non-essential, they stay off.
3. Your choice and how to change it
On your first visit you’ll see a banner with two equal options: Accept all or Reject non-essential. Your choice is stored for 180 days. To review or change it later, click Cookie settings in the footer, or clear the pr_consentcookie in your browser and reload — the banner will appear again.
4. Third parties
During checkout, our payment provider Paddlemay set its own cookies to process your payment securely; the Paddle checkout is governed by Paddle’s own policies. The analytics and advertising tools above are provided by Googleand are subject to Google’s privacy and cookie policies.
5. Managing cookies in your browser
You can clear or block cookies in your browser settings at any time. Note that blocking essential cookies will stop you from being able to log in and use PixelRetriever.
Questions about any of this? Email hello@pixelretriever.com and a real person (well — a real person and a Golden Retriever) will get back to you.
